St. George Island Rental FAQ
1. How can I book a reservation?
You have two choices to book a reservation. You can book a reservation online at
www.vacationsbyanchor.com. Or, you
can contact our reservation department toll-free (in the U.S.) at (800) 824-0416.
You can also reach our reservation department by calling (850) 927-2625.
2. Is there a deposit due at the time of booking?
At the time of booking a deposit equal to 50% of the total is due to confirm the
reservation.
3. When is my balance due?
Your balance is due 45 days prior to your arrival. If you are booking a reservation
within 30 days of your arrival date, the total amount is due at the time of booking.
4. What type payments do you accept?
We accept American Express, MasterCard, Discover, Visa, and checks. Please note
payments by check must be received with enough time for the check to clear the banks
before check-in.
5. What time is check-in/check-out?
Check-in is at 4PM, Eastern Time, and check-out is at 11AM, Eastern Time.
6. Can I get an early check-in, or a late check-out?
While we do our best to accommodate every request by our guests, please note it
is very difficult to accommodate these requests. Properties are cleaned in the order
they are vacated and the 5 hour window is needed to clean and inspect the properties
before the next check-in is allowed.

8. Can I check-in after business hours?
Yes. We have a box mounted to the wall where after hours check-in packages are left.
Inside your package you will find keys to the property, directions, and an after
hours emergency phone number.
9. Are linens provided?
Linens are provided in all properties managed by Anchor Vacations, LLC.
10. What items should I bring with me?
For your convenience, we will supply you with an “initial” supply of
toilet tissue, soap, and trash bags. We recommend you bring the following listed
below. You can bring these items from home or purchase them in one of our local
stores.

- Paper Towels
- Trash Bags
- Dishwashing Liquid
- Automatic Dishwasher Detergent
- Cleaning Supplies
- Insect Repellent

11. Do the properties have baby beds, high chairs, pack-n-plays, etc?
Very few properties provide baby furniture. You can however make arrangements through
our reservation department to reserve high chairs, or pack-n-play cribs, subject
to availability of course.
12. Are my pets welcome?
While not all of our properties are pet friendly, we do have a large
selection of properties to choose from. You can view all our pet

13. Will we have access to a public swimming pool?
Some of our properties have private pools, while others offer pool access to a community
pool in communities which they are located. There are no public swimming pools in
the area.
14. What is travel insurance?
You can read the advantages of Travel Insurance online at www.vacationrentalinsurance.com. If you would like to decline
travel insurance, you have to sign and return the Travel Cancellation Form 30 days
prior to your arrival.
15. What is your cancellation policy?
Two options are available for the cancellation policy: (1) guest may purchase optional
travel insurance coverage which will reimburse under a wide variety of circumstances
for cancellation (policy information is included with rental confirmation and may
be selected or declined at guest's discretion); or (2) if guest declines optional
travel insurance, then standard cancellation policy is such that you may cancel,
however, all rental proceeds paid will continue to be held until such time as the
property re-rents for the same duration (or greater) at the same rental fee as your
reservation - once property has been re-rented to another quest for the same period
of time at the same rate, then you would be refunded your deposit less a $100 cancellation
fee.
16. Are there age limits on who can rent a property with Anchor Vacations?
Renters must be at least 25 years of age. Absolutely no fraternities or sororities.
17. Can I rent a property for a special occasion such as a wedding?
Use for occasions such as weddings, receptions, “parties” which increase
the stated occupancy (even for a few hours) must be requested in writing and approved
by Anchor Vacations prior to occupancy. If Anchor Vacations approves the event,
guest may be required to pay an additional fee or deposit.
18. Do you have minimum stay requirements?
During Season I (summer) our rental policy requires a 7 night minimum stay in the
majority of our properties. These properties have set cycle days which must be adhered
to. For example, a property with Saturday for a cycle day can only be checked into
on Saturday with the departure taking place the following Saturday.
19. Is there anything we need to do when we check-out?
- Do your dishes and put them away.
- Take all garbage to the provided can for your unit in accordance with the notice
posted in your unit.
20. When do I have to return my rental terms and agreement?
Within 14 days of receipt.
